This product is shipped by UPS directly from Smithfield. Perishable items are shipped UPS Mon. - Wed. UPS delivers Mon - Fri. Perishable items must be refrigerated or frozen upon receipt. We will not be responsible for spoilage of items shipped where no one is available to accept delivery. Items ordered together may be shipped separately. If Express Delivery (2 transit days after processing) is required or desired, it needs to to be selected on the drop down bar on this page when ordering. This will add $15.00 to shipping. Next Day Air and 3 Day Select shipping are not offered for this item. We only ship to the continental U.S. which excludes Alaska and Hawaii.

UPON RECEIPT:
Your order will arrive frozen or partially thawed. Please refrigerate or re-freeze upon receipt.
STORAGE:
Product can remain frozen up to one year.
THAWING:
For best results, thaw product under refrigeration at least 24 hours prior to using.
HEATING:
Stovetop:
Remove product from pouch and place desired amount in medium sauce pan. Heat on medium low until thoroughly heated tossing gently and continuously.
Microwave Oven:
Remove product from pouch and place in microwave safe container (maximum 1 lb. at a time). Sprinkle with 2 spoonfulls of water. Place in microwave oven. Heat for 4 minutes. Remove product form oven, stir and check for doneness. If necessary, cover container and place back in microwave oven and add more heating time.

Note: Heating times may vary depending on equipment and amount of meat used at one time. Always use caution when handling hot meat products.
