This product is shipped by UPS directly from Smithfield. Perishable items are shipped UPS Mon. - Tues. UPS delivers Mon - Fri. Perishable items must be refrigerated or frozen upon receipt. We will not be responsible for spoilage of items shipped where no one is available to accept delivery. Items ordered together may be shipped separately. If Express Delivery (2 transit days after processing) is required or desired, it needs to to be selected on the drop down bar on this page when ordering. This will add $15.00 to shipping. Next Day Air and 3 Day Select shipping are not offered for this item. We only ship to the continental U.S. which excludes Alaska and Hawaii.

UPON RECEIPT:
Your order will arrive frozen or partially thawed. Please refrigerate or re-freeze upon receipt.
STORAGE:
Product can remain frozen up to one year.
THAWING:
For best results, thaw product under refrigeration approximately 24 hours prior to using.
HEATING:
Stovetop:
Remove product from package and place in pot or deep pan. Heat on open flame for approximately 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Break big pieces into smaller shreds. Transfer to serving container.
Boil In Bag:
Place entire package in boiling water and heat for approximately 40 minutes (for frozen package heat for approximately 45 minutes). Remove package from water carefully using tongs. Place on table and let rest for 3 minutes. Open package carefully and transfer product to serving container.

Note: Always use caution when handling hot meat products.
